Washington Catch Record Cards, Age 70 Senior Pricing, and Endorsements

CRC species, eCRC mobile records, and the age-70 senior row matter more than the base license on many trips.

Washington CRC, endorsements, and age 70

CRC species stack
Salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, halibut, and Puget Sound crab all trigger CRC duties.
Age 70 senior row
Washington’s resident senior pricing is generally tied to age 70, not 65.
eCRC workflow
WDFW’s mobile system can issue electronic catch record cards through MyWDFW and Fish Washington.

Washington fishing often turns on the catch record card instead of the base license alone. Salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, halibut, and Puget Sound Dungeness crab all bring CRC duties, and the requirement can still apply to youth and other license-exempt anglers. WDFW also lets anglers use electronic catch record cards through MyWDFW and Fish Washington.

The state’s senior line starts at age 70 rather than age 65, and many trips still need endorsements or a Vehicle Access Pass on top of the base license. Free Fishing Weekend helps, but it does not erase every card or endorsement question for every species.
